v5.2 - Best practice recommended reports to review

Matcher customers will each have decided their own regimes for running reports from their system, which will also depend on their local competent authority requirements and other applicable legislation such as the EU Tissues and Cells Directive. 

Below we summarise our suggested 'best practice' recommendation for which of the key reports available within Matcher should be reviewed, and on what frequency, for a typical centre.  All reports can be printed or exported as a PDF, or exported to Excel or CSV for analysis (CSV is recommended).

Mismatch report	Are all mismatches and the reasons for them reviewed and documented?  Notes can be added against each mismatch (or other procedure) in the patient details > Matches tab	l
Expired lots report	Frequently reviewing expired lots ensures product used remain fit for purpose	l
Override report	Ensuring procedures are carried out in the correct order and not missed out is important.  Frequently overridden procedures may indicate your standard operating procedures are not being followed, further training for some users is required, or that you need to amend your procedures or process maps		l
Active lot report	Any old lots or products that are no longer in use but are still apearing in this report should be closed to maintain accurate lot tracking records		l
Expiry of cryo storage consent report	Renewal of cryo storage consent, or disposal of cryopreserved material on the date that consent to store it expires, are requirements of many competent authorities and should be monitored carefully		l
Cryo all storage report	A sample/full audit of all cryopreserved material stored in each cryo vessel can be aided by this report, greatly reducing the time taken to complete the audit			l
Cryo movement report	A report detailing all movements into and out of cryostores between specified dates to assist audits			l
Procedures and process map reports	Reviewing and updating the details of your procedures and process maps is important to ensure they continue to accurately reflect your standard operating procedures including products used			l
Lot traceability report	In the event of a product recall this report provides a list of all patients who have come into contact with specified lots of products so risks can be mitigated quickly and efficiently				l
Patient records viewed by user report	This report provides a record of who viewed patient records, helping you to preserve patient confidentiality and monitoring user activity				l
